✓ Reservations & confirmation
Submitting a request does not guarantee a ride and does not charge you. Black Door first reviews the request and provides the approved trip details and final fare. The reservation becomes paid/confirmed after the secure payment step is completed.
✓ Upfront fare & payment
Your final fare is provided before payment. After Black Door approves the request, a private Stripe payment link is sent by email, text or WhatsApp. Payment is completed before the reservation is finalized unless Black Door expressly agrees to another arrangement. Any tip is offered only after the completed ride and is always optional.
✓ Trip changes & extra stops
The confirmed fare applies to the agreed pickup, destination and planned stops. A requested destination change, additional stop or material trip change may require an updated fare before the changed trip continues.
✓ Cancellations & no-shows
Please cancel as early as possible if plans change. Black Door may decline future reservations after repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows. Any cancellation fee, if introduced, will be disclosed before a reservation is confirmed.
✓ Seat belts & child restraints
All riders must use available seat belts and comply with applicable child-restraint laws. A parent or responsible adult must provide and properly secure any required child safety seat unless Black Door has expressly agreed otherwise in advance.
✓ Passenger capacity
The number of passengers may not exceed the number of available designated seating positions and seat belts. Black Door may refuse an unsafe passenger or cargo arrangement.
✓ No smoking, vaping or illegal substances
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the vehicle. Illegal drugs, unsafe conduct, threats, harassment or behavior that distracts the driver are not permitted. A ride may be refused or ended when reasonably necessary for safety, subject to applicable law.
✓ Pets & service animals
To protect the clean, fresh interior, pets are not accepted. Service animals are accommodated as required by applicable law.
✓ Vehicle cleanliness & damage
Please help keep the vehicle clean. A rider may be responsible for reasonable cleaning or repair costs resulting from avoidable excessive mess or damage caused by the rider or their party, where permitted by law and supported by appropriate documentation.
✓ Personal belongings
Before leaving, please check your seat and surrounding area for phones, wallets, bags and other belongings. Black Door will make reasonable efforts to return items that are found, but riders remain responsible for their personal property to the extent permitted by law.
✓ Pickup readiness & waiting
Please be ready at the confirmed pickup time. If a substantial delay changes the reservation or affects later bookings, Black Door may need to adjust or cancel the ride. Any paid waiting-time policy will be disclosed before it is applied.
✓ Weather, road & safety conditions
Black Door may delay, reroute or cancel a ride when weather, road conditions, mechanical issues or another safety concern makes the trip unreasonable or unsafe. Any payment already collected for an unprovided ride will be handled according to the confirmed payment terms and applicable law.
✓ Minors
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless a different arrangement is expressly approved in advance and permitted by applicable law.
✓ Respectful service
Black Door provides service without unlawful discrimination and expects respectful conduct from riders. Reasonable accessibility needs can be shared in the booking notes so they can be addressed before confirmation.
✓ Booking information & privacy
Information submitted through the site is used to review reservations, communicate about rides, maintain business records and improve service. Black Door does not sell customer personal information.
✓ Drivers & vehicles
Black Door may assign another trusted driver to a reservation when needed. Drivers operating on behalf of Black Door are expected to follow Black Door's standards for safe, professional and courteous service. Vehicle and driver details may be provided or confirmed before pickup.
✓ Applicable law
These ride policies supplement applicable law. Nothing here is intended to waive a right or responsibility that cannot legally be waived.

When is my ride confirmed?
Black Door first reviews your request and sends the approved trip details and final fare. Your reservation is finalized after you complete the secure payment step, unless Black Door expressly confirms another arrangement.
Will I know the price before my ride?
Yes. You receive your confirmed fare before pickup. Black Door uses trip distance and expected travel time to determine pricing, so there is no surprise meter running after your ride begins.
How is my fare calculated?
Black Door uses a straightforward pricing model built around a minimum local fare, trip distance and expected drive time. The website calculator provides an estimate; your final fare is confirmed with your reservation. Once confirmed, ordinary traffic does not change the price unless you request a change to the trip such as an extra stop or different destination.
Are tips required?
No. Tips are always optional and never expected. The reservation payment covers only your confirmed fare. After a completed ride, the private review page may include an optional tip choice.
Do you allow pets?
To maintain the exceptionally clean, fresh interior our riders expect, Black Door does not accommodate pets. Service animals are accommodated as required by law.
Do you serve airports?
Black Door is starting with local rides. Longer trips and airport transportation may be considered by request as the service grows.
How do I pay?
After Black Door approves your ride and final fare, we send you a private Stripe payment link by email, text or WhatsApp. You pay the confirmed fare on Stripe's secure checkout page before the reservation is finalized. Any optional tip is offered only after the completed ride.
Can the confirmed price change?
Your confirmed fare stays the same for the trip you reserved. If you request a change during the ride—such as adding a stop or changing the destination—we’ll let you know any fare adjustment before continuing with the modified trip.
